Hello! & welcome to my little square of the internet.

I'm Ash — I'm an artist, writer, and facilitator working at the intersection of embodiment, repair, and social transformation.

My work is a type of personal and collective archaeology—a practice of uncovering and retelling stories embedded in materials, place, and time. I've worked with discarded plastic plants, decommissioned fire hoses, clay foraged from specific sites, clothes that have disintegrated with time. I write songs, critical theory, and poetry. Through all of it, I’m piecing together the hidden narratives in what we've been conditioned to overlook.

Community engagement is an extension of my art practice. I facilitate workshops designed to transform both our internal and external landscapes—strengthening our capacity for social discourse, deepening our relationship with nature and our bodies, and creating space for genuine inquiry and healing. I'm trained as a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, doula, and yoga teacher—all practices that inform how I hold space for transformation—in my own work and in community.

In 2024, I founded EartHouse, a nonprofit supporting artists and designers building toward more equitable, embodied systems. At the heart of all this work, I'm asking the same question: What becomes possible when we slow down enough to consider what is typically unnoticed or unacknowledged?

My work is an invitation to pause, to reconnect. To remember we belong to something larger than we've been told.
